Role: PYP Early Years English Homeroom Teacher

As a PYP EY English Homeroom Teacher, you will play a vital role in laying the foundation for early childhood literacy and language acquisition. This position requires an educator who is passionate about early years education, skilled in inquiry-based learning, and eager to create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging English lessons based on the IB PYP curriculum.
• Create a stimulating and interactive classroom environment that fosters early literacy, communication skills, and a love for learning.
• Implement play-based and inquiry-driven learning activities tailored to young learners.
• Support social, emotional, and cognitive development through developmentally appropriate teaching strategies.
• Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative learning community.
• Assess student progress using IB assessment criteria and provide constructive feedback.
• Work closely with other educators to enhance the Early Years curriculum and integrate interdisciplinary learning.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, English, or a related field.
• Valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent qualification).
• Proven experience teaching English in an IB or international school setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IB PYP methodologies and inquiry-based learning.
• Ability to create engaging, student-centered lesson plans tailored to early learners.
• Passion for early childhood education and professional growth.
