Role: School Counselor

As a School Counselor, you will:

• Provide guidance and counseling services to support students’ academic, career, and personal development.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to address student needs.
• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions, classroom presentations, and crisis interventions.
• Assist with student placement, scheduling, and records management.
• Review psychological evaluations and standardized test scores to create personalized student support plans.
• Act as an on-campus resource for student well-being and academic progress.
• Plan and implement the guidance curriculum in alignment with school goals.
• Consult with teachers and administrators to monitor student progress and behavioral development.
• Refer students to appropriate school services or external support agencies when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all counseling-related matters.
• Participate in faculty meetings, staff development programs, and school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or School Counseling.
• Master’s degree in School Counseling (preferred).
• 1-2 years of experience in counseling or education (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Teaching or counseling license (preferred).
• Strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and student support.
• Passion for helping students navigate academic and personal challenges.
