Role: Science Teacher (Biology, Chemistry & Physics)
Mamoura British Academy seeks a dedicated Science Teacher to deliver engaging and practical science lessons to students. The successful candidate will create a stimulating learning environment and encourage scientific curiosity and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at the secondary level following the English National Curriculum
- Develop interactive and practical science lessons that promote hands-on learning and inquiry-based exploration
- Foster a collaborative and engaging classroom environment that supports student achievement and curiosity
- Utilize modern teaching technologies to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement
- Assess student progress through assignments, experiments, and assessments, providing targeted feedback
- Work closely with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and enhance the STEM learning experience
- Participate in professional development programs and contribute to the school’s commitment to continuous improvement
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field
- Valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience following the English National Curriculum
- Proven ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and student-focused learning environment
- Passion for STEM education, inquiry-based learning, and hands-on scientific exploration
