Position: Science Teacher
We are looking for a Science Teacher who brings energy, innovation, and strong subject knowledge to the classroom. You will design and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the IGCSE and/or American curriculum, foster scientific curiosity, and support academic excellence through well-structured instruction and assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver science lessons to students in line with international curriculum standards
- Create a positive, student-centered classroom environment
- Integrate hands-on experiments and technology to enhance scientific learning
- Assess student performance using formative and summative methods
- Collaborate with faculty to align instruction and share best practices
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline
- Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience teaching science at the primary or secondary level
- Familiarity with the British IGCSE or American curriculum is an advantage
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student growth
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team
