Role Overview: Secondary Art Teacher
As a Secondary Art Teacher, you will inspire students to develop their artistic skills, visual literacy, and appreciation for diverse art forms. Your role includes delivering engaging lessons in painting, drawing, sculpture, design, and digital art. You will also support students in preparing portfolios, participating in exhibitions, and collaborating on school-wide creative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a high-quality art curriculum aligned with British or IGCSE standards
- Develop students’ technical skills and conceptual understanding in visual arts
- Encourage independent thought, personal expression, and experimentation
- Organize student showcases and contribute to school cultural events
- Integrate technology into art instruction and project work

- Collaborate with faculty to support interdisciplinary learning
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Art Education or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international school
- Proficiency in both traditional and digital art mediums
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
