Role Overview
As a Secondary Biology Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging lessons that help students develop a deep understanding of biological concepts and scientific inquiry. You will encourage critical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving while preparing students for success in international curricula and future academic pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology at the secondary level with creativity and rigor
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with international standards
- Encourage hands-on experiments and scientific investigations
- Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to enhance student learning
- Support extracurricular activities and school initiatives related to science education
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Science Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of three years of secondary-level teaching experience
- Familiarity with international curricula and inquiry-based learning
- Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Ability to integrate technology to enhance learning outcomes
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, multicultural school environment
