Role: Secondary Chemistry Teacher (A Level & IGCSE)
In this role, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Chemistry curriculum. You will guide students through practical and theoretical scientific concepts, foster critical thinking, and help them achieve outstanding academic outcomes. Your role will also include developing lab-based learning experiences and contributing to the wider school science program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject
- Recognized teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level
- Strong command of Chemistry subject matter, particularly IGCSE and A Level content
- Excellent classroom management and instructional skills
- Passion for working in a multicultural international school environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to integrate technology to enhance learning experiences
- A proactive, reflective approach to teaching and professional development
