Role Overview: Secondary English Teacher
As a Secondary English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the international curriculum. You will create lesson plans that develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills. This role involves fostering a love for the English language and literature, supporting academic achievement, and encouraging student curiosity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years teaching experience in secondary English education
- Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management abilities
- Enthusiasm for teaching in a diverse international school environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Self-motivated, independent, and proactive in curriculum enrichment
- Effective communication skills to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- Competence in integrating technology to enhance teaching and learning
