Role Overview

The Secondary ICT Teacher will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ knowledge in information and communication technology. The teacher will guide learners through practical and theoretical aspects of ICT, encouraging problem-solving, digital literacy, and responsible use of technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver ICT lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum at secondary level
• Teach core concepts in programming, digital systems, and ICT applications
• Develop projects that integrate real-world digital tools and problem-solving
• Foster critical thinking and collaboration through classroom activities
• Use technology to enhance student engagement and outcomes
• Support extracurricular initiatives such as coding clubs or digital competitions
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen the overall ICT program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of ICT teaching experience, preferably in an international setting
• Strong knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum or similar international frameworks
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to professional development
• Ability to inspire students in a multicultural school community
