Role Overview
As a Secondary Math Teacher, you will design engaging lessons that strengthen students’ understanding of mathematics while fostering analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. You will work with a diverse group of students and collaborate with colleagues to create an innovative learning environment that prepares students for success in international education pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach secondary-level mathematics following international curricula
- Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking
- Use differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Integrate educational technology into daily teaching practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular initiatives
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and the school community
- Support extracurricular programs and contribute to wider school life
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in math or related subjects
- Familiarity with international curricula (IB, IGCSE, AP, or similar)
- Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning
- Ability to enrich the curriculum and support school-wide initiatives
- Enthusiasm for teaching in a multicultural international school environment
