Role: Secondary Mathematics Teacher

As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher, you will play a critical role in delivering engaging, challenging, and supportive lessons that follow the Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics curriculum. You will work closely with a team of educators to foster a love for problem-solving and analytical thinking in students.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to secondary-level students following the IGCSE syllabus
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with curriculum objectives
• Deliver differentiated instruction to meet the varied needs of learners
• Promote critical thinking, logical reasoning, and real-world application of mathematics
• Assess and monitor student progress using appropriate tools and feedback
• Use digital tools and technologies to enhance teaching and student engagement
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular planning and school-wide initiatives
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders
• Contribute actively to school development and continuous professional learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching license or recognized qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, preferably in international schools
• In-depth knowledge of the IGCSE Mathematics syllabus and effective instructional practices
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• High level of proficiency in English
• A proactive and collaborative approach to education
