Role: Secondary Maths Teacher

As a Secondary Maths Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing students’ mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills. You will create engaging lessons that challenge students while promoting a love for mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver well-structured and engaging Maths lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
• Plan and implement lessons for KS3, KS4, and KS5 students, ensuring all learners are supported.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and confidence.
• Use differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills through interactive teaching methods.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources, share best practices, and enhance the Maths curriculum.
• Participate in school-wide events, extracurricular activities, and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• B.Ed. in Mathematics or a degree with PGCE/PGDE and strong subject knowledge.
• At least three years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
• Proven experience teaching Maths from KS3 to KS5.
• Ability to teach an additional subject is desirable.
• Strong commitment to creating an engaging, inclusive, and student-focused learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
