Role Overview

The Secondary PE Teacher will encourage students to embrace healthy lifestyles through physical education, sports, and fitness programs. You will design engaging lessons, coach school teams, and provide opportunities for students to develop skills in teamwork, leadership, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach physical education to secondary-level students across a range of sports and activities
• Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate PE lessons
• Promote health, fitness, and lifelong physical activity habits
• Coach and mentor students in school sports teams and competitions
• Assess and track student progress in physical performance and participation
• Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-child development
• Contribute to extracurricular programs and school-wide initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or a related field
• Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least three years of teaching experience in a PE or coaching role
• Strong knowledge of physical education methods and international curricula
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
• Enthusiasm for working in a diverse international school community
• Ability to integrate technology and innovative approaches into PE instruction
