Role Overview

As a Secondary PE Teacher, you will lead physical education classes for students in lower and upper secondary levels. You will promote fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship while supporting students’ physical, social, and emotional growth. Experience with the IGCSE PE curriculum is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging PE lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE Physical Education curriculum
• Organize and oversee sports events, inter-school competitions, and physical development activities
• Foster student interest in physical activity and lifelong healthy habits
• Maintain high standards of safety and discipline during all physical activities
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular and co-curricular initiatives
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to support student development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a similar PE teaching role, preferably with IGCSE curriculum
• Strong knowledge of sports education, health, and fitness
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to lead sports teams and co-curricular activities
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Self-motivated, innovative, and passionate about student engagement
