Role Overview
As a Secondary Physics Teacher, you will deliver engaging, concept-driven lessons aligned with the IB curriculum. You will teach topics such as mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and quantum physics. Hands-on experiments, innovative teaching strategies, and digital tools will form an essential part of your instruction, helping students connect theory with real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver interactive physics lessons for secondary students
- Design and conduct safe, engaging laboratory activities
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum
- Integrate technology to enrich the learning experience
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum three years of teaching experience in physics at the secondary level
- Experience with IB or other international curricula preferred
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Commitment to continuous professional growth
