Role: Secondary Physics Teacher
In this role, you will:
- Deliver engaging Physics lessons to students across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level, following the Edexcel specification.
- Teach general science to Key Stage 3 students, ensuring lessons are interactive and accessible to all learners.
- Use innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support individual learning goals.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
- Provide pastoral care by supporting students’ academic and personal development.
- Work closely with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and implement best teaching practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- A recognized teaching qualification such as B.Ed. or PGCE with QTS.
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to teach Physics at GCSE and A-Level.
- Experience teaching science subjects at Key Stage 3.
- A proven track record of delivering outstanding results in Physics using the Edexcel specification.
- An excellent understanding of the National Curriculum for England and Wales and its assessment frameworks.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
- A commitment to supporting student well-being and identifying safeguarding concerns when necessary.
