Role: SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with teachers to support students with SEN in the classroom.
• Assist students in accessing the curriculum, developing learning skills, and building independence.
• Implement individualized strategies to meet diverse learning needs, including students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support, reinforcing lesson content and social skills development.
• Adapt teaching materials and activities to ensure inclusivity in the learning process.
• Monitor student progress and collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and parents to adjust learning plans as needed.
• Foster a nurturing and supportive classroom environment, encouraging confidence and engagement in students.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma; a CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification in education or SEN support is preferred.
• Previous experience as an LSA or in SEN support is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
• Ability to implement personalized strategies and inclusive education practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and student-centered approach.
