This school is based in Mexico and is looking for a SII EE Teacher (Industrial Engineering Sciences, Energy Option)
LFM Mexico is a private, non-profit French high school under Mexican law, approved by the French Ministry of National Education and approved by the AEFE. It is administered by a Board of Directors and managed by the authorities of a French high school abroad.
The establishment has more than 3000 students with 9 to 10 classes per level (on the 2 sites) and an average of 22.23 students per class. 417 staff members work there, including 297 educational staff (teachers, assistants, supervision, school life and health) who are in direct contact with the students. The management team is made up of a Headmaster, three deputy headmasters, three school directors. Four EEMCP2 and one EMFE are also attached to it.
Staff are recruited by the LFM administration and the head of the establishment in conjunction with the management team.
Candidates with a National Education qualification who will be offered a position must have obtained their secondment or availability by June 1, 2024 (Request to be made through the establishment before the end of March).
Staff are recruited under local Mexican law contracts full-time (unless otherwise indicated), on fixed-term contracts for the first year, then on permanent contracts. They must hold a National Education diploma or a Master’s degree and preferably have significant experience teaching French programs , in France or abroad. Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable and the ability to teach in English will be a plus. For positions in Literature, the institution only recruits teachers with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in French Literature , and in no case holders of a FLE or FLESCO FLESCO diploma.
