Position: Spanish Teacher (Primary & Junior)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons tailored to young learners.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages language acquisition and fluency.
• Use innovative teaching methods and digital tools to enhance the learning experience.
• Develop and implement student-centered lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
• Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support language development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Spanish into cross-curricular activities.
• Promote Spanish language and culture through creative projects, events, and immersive experiences.
• Stay updated with best practices in language education to continuously refine teaching strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proficient/advanced Spanish language skills.
• Proficient/advanced English language skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field, with a PGCE and QTS (or equivalent certification).
• Minimum of three years’ experience teaching Spanish in a reputable school.
• A proven track record of student success in language acquisition.
• Experience teaching the International Baccalaureate (IB) program is preferred (professional training is provided).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Passionate about multilingual education and cultural diversity.
