Role: STEAM Teacher
As a STEAM Teacher, you will lead engaging, hands-on lessons for students from Year 3 to Year 9, incorporating technology, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and the visual arts. Through project-based learning, students will explore real-world applications of STEAM subjects, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality STEAM lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
- Develop and implement interactive, project-based learning experiences that integrate technology, sustainability, and innovation.
- Inspire students to think creatively, collaborate, and develop problem-solving skills.
- Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment where all students can explore and experiment.
- Utilize cutting-edge educational technology and digital tools to enhance student learning.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement effective assessment strategies.
- Work collaboratively with teachers across disciplines to incorporate cross-curricular learning.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant STEAM subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching the National Curriculum for England in the UK.
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality, innovative lessons that engage students.
- Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level STEAM subjects (essential).
- Strong digital literacy and experience using EdTech tools in the classroom.
- Cleared Police and Safeguarding Background Checks.
