Role Overview

The STEM/Computer Science Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This role focuses on developing students’ computational thinking, digital literacy, and problem-solving skills. The teacher will also guide learners in exploring programming, robotics, and emerging technologies, ensuring they are well-prepared for both academic and career pathways in STEM fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach computer science and STEM courses across middle and high school levels
• Develop project-based learning experiences that encourage creativity and innovation
• Incorporate coding, robotics, and emerging technologies into the curriculum
• Support students in STEM competitions, clubs, and extracurricular projects
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment
• Track student progress and provide meaningful feedback
• Work with colleagues to enhance the school’s STEM program and integrate cross-disciplinary learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, STEM Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of three years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in international schools
• Strong knowledge of programming, digital technologies, and STEM pedagogy
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Enthusiasm for working with a diverse, multicultural community
• Ability to integrate educational technology into teaching and learning
