Position: Teacher of Art & Photography (Senior School)
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Art & Photography at Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and A-Level, following the British curriculum.
- Develop and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that encourage artistic exploration and technical mastery.
- Guide students in traditional and digital media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography.
- Provide individualized feedback to help students refine their creative techniques.
- Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level coursework and exhibitions.
- Organize art showcases, photography competitions, and gallery visits.
- Foster a collaborative and inspiring classroom environment that promotes self-expression and innovation.
- Collaborate with the Art & Design department to enhance the curriculum and teaching methodologies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Photography, or a related field.
- Valid teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching Art & Photography at the secondary level.
- A strong portfolio of artistic work and teaching experience.
- Proficiency in digital and traditional artistic techniques.
- Passion for art education, creative learning, and student engagement.
