Role: Teacher of Business Studies
The Teacher of Business Studies will play a crucial role in developing students’ understanding of economics, entrepreneurship, and business management. This role offers a unique opportunity to inspire students and equip them with real-world business skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Business Studies at the secondary level, following the British curriculum
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that foster a strong understanding of business concepts
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Business Studies examinations
- Develop students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills through real-world case studies and projects
- Integrate modern teaching strategies and digital tools to enhance learning
- Encourage students to explore entrepreneurship and business leadership
- Support and contribute to co-curricular activities such as business clubs, competitions, and internships
Qualifications & Experience:
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license (UK or internationally recognized equivalent)
- Minimum of three years of relevant teaching experience (required for a work permit in Oman)
- Experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level within a British curriculum framework
- A student-centered teaching approach that encourages active learning and critical thinking
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
