Role: Teacher of English & Psychology
As a Teacher of English & Psychology, you will create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that promotes academic excellence and independent thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons in English and Psychology, ensuring students develop a deep understanding of key concepts.
- Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through interactive discussions and real-world applications.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including students at the Hemam Centre.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support academic growth.
- Stay updated with best practices in English and Psychology education to enhance lesson effectiveness.
- Inspire students to develop a passion for literature, language, and psychological inquiry.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Psychology, or a related field.
- Valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- A minimum of three years of proven teaching experience in GCSE English Language and English Literature.
- Five or more years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England or IB.
- Experience teaching IBDP English is preferred.
- Experience teaching GCSE Psychology is highly desirable.
- A passion for creating an inclusive, student-focused learning environment.
- Strong commitment to professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
