Role: Teacher of Physical Education
As a Teacher of Physical Education, you will encourage students to develop physical skills, teamwork, and a lifelong passion for fitness and well-being. This position requires an enthusiastic and dedicated educator who values inclusivity, motivation, and skill development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons in line with the British curriculum.
- Develop students’ physical literacy, teamwork, and sportsmanship through structured activities.
- Organize school sports programs, extracurricular clubs, and competitive events.
- Promote health, fitness, and well-being through dynamic and inclusive instruction.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that caters to diverse abilities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the sports curriculum and school-wide fitness initiatives.
- Uphold the values, ethos, and standards of King’s College, Doha.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent qualification).
- Proven experience teaching Physical Education in an international or British school setting.
- Strong understanding of sports coaching, fitness training, and child development.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of all skill levels.
- A passion for sports, teamwork, and student development.
