Key Responsibilities:
  • Instruction:
    • Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse student needs.
    • Develop and implement engaging instructional materials and activities to promote active learning.
    • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Classroom Management:
    • Maintain a safe, orderly, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
    • Implement effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
    • Address and manage student behavior in accordance with school policies.
  • Collaboration and Professional Development:
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with educational advancements.
    • Attend and contribute to departmental and school-wide meetings.
  • Student Support:
    • Provide individual support and guidance to students to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
    • Identify and address students’ diverse learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
    • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
  • Extracurricular Involvement:
    • Participate in and support school events, extracurricular activities, and student clubs.
    • Encourage student participation in various school activities to promote a well-rounded educational experience.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant subject area.
    • CAP/Master in Teacher Training is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Previous teaching experience is highly valued.
    • Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
    • Proficiency in using digital tools and technology to enhance learning.
    • High level of emotional intelligence, including empathy, patience, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.

 

Languages:
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Additional languages are an asset.
