Role: Design and Technology Teacher
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will:
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons that incorporate design principles, engineering concepts, and creative problem-solving.
- Guide students in practical, hands-on projects, such as product design, robotics, CAD modeling, and prototyping.
- Integrate cutting-edge technology, including 3D printing, laser cutting, and coding, into the curriculum.
- Encourage students to think critically and apply their knowledge to real-world design challenges.
- Assess student progress through interactive projects, portfolios, and technical assessments.
- Foster a creative and collaborative classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore, innovate, and experiment.
- Collaborate with STEM educators and school leadership to enhance the Design and Technology program.
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates must have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Design and Technology, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- A valid teaching license (QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent qualification).
- Proven experience teaching Design and Technology in an international, IB, or British curriculum school.
- Strong expertise in CAD software, 3D modeling, and digital fabrication tools.
- A passion for STEM education, innovation, and hands-on learning.
- Excellent communication, lesson-planning, and classroom management skills.
