Role Overview: Spanish Teacher (IB MYP)
As an IB MYP Spanish Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective Spanish language lessons for middle years students. You will help students develop fluency, cultural awareness, and communication skills while fostering a love for language learning in a supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement IB MYP Spanish lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Foster a language-rich environment that supports diverse learning styles
- Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary learning
- Engage students in meaningful tasks that build linguistic and cultural competencies
- Maintain clear communication with parents and contribute to school events

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Spanish, Language Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or equivalent (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Spanish, preferably within an IB or international school context
- Familiarity with IB MYP curriculum preferred
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Proven ability to innovate and differentiate instruction using technology
