Role Overview: Primary English Teacher
As a Primary English Teacher, you will deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that build foundational literacy skills and critical thinking. You will work closely with fellow educators to create a dynamic learning environment that fosters language development, creativity, and confidence in young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English to primary-level students using the Cambridge Primary English curriculum
- Design interactive lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students
- Integrate technology and modern teaching strategies to enhance student learning
- Collaborate with grade-level colleagues on curriculum planning and school events
- Provide regular feedback and support to students and parents
- Uphold BBS’s mission to promote bilingual excellence and intercultural understanding
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or international certification (QTS, PGCE, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with the Cambridge international curriculum preferred
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative
