Role Overview
The IGCSE/IBDP Mathematics Teacher will design and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that develop students’ analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in mathematics. You will guide learners through the IGCSE and IB Mathematics curricula, ensuring they meet high academic standards while fostering a genuine appreciation for the subject.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach high-quality Mathematics lessons for IGCSE and IB students.
- Develop students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum development and collaborative school initiatives.
- Maintain an inclusive, supportive, and inspiring classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of IGCSE and IB Mathematics curricula.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English.
