Role Overview
The Business Studies Teacher (Senior School) will play a vital role in equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the fields of business, finance, and entrepreneurship. You will deliver engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application of business concepts while preparing students for GCSE and A-level examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Business Studies at Senior School level, including GCSE and A-level.
- Design and deliver innovative lessons that connect theory to real-world business practices.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress with constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the Business Studies curriculum.
- Inspire students to explore entrepreneurship, economics, and global business issues.
- Participate actively in the wider school community and extracurricular programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience, preferably in an international or British curriculum school.
- Strong knowledge of GCSE and A-level Business Studies curricula.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English.
