Role Overview: Business Studies Teacher
As a Business Studies Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching Business Studies to students at Key Stage 3 and IGCSE level
- Developing engaging lesson plans aligned with the Cambridge or British National Curriculum
- Supporting students in understanding real-world business principles and case studies
- Preparing learners for internal and external assessments with effective teaching strategies
- Encouraging classroom discussions and debates to enhance business acumen
- Collaborating with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning
- Contributing to co-curricular activities and school community life
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related subject
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 4 years of teaching experience in Business Studies or a similar subject
- Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment standards
- Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
- Enthusiasm for working with international students in a diverse environment
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
