EY Assistant Manager, Beaconhouse School, Oman Senior Leadership Team

This school is based in Muscat, Oman and is looking for an EY Assistant Manager.

Position Overview:
Beaconhouse School in Oman seeks an EY (Early Years) Assistant Manager to play a pivotal role in driving academic excellence and fostering professional growth among school leaders and teachers. The successful candidate will address academic queries, manage curriculum-related tasks, and ensure the implementation of professional development programs. This position is vital to maintaining high-quality education standards and ensuring customer satisfaction across campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Support and Curriculum Management:

• Resolve academic issues raised by campuses, including queries about the quality of DLPs (Daily Lesson Plans), SOWs (Schemes of Work), exam papers, marking keys, curriculum, and educational materials.
• Assist in developing, refining, and providing feedback on academic materials, including curriculum content, publications, DLPs, and readers.

Professional Development:

• Plan, organize, and manage professional development programs for school heads and teachers, both internally and externally.
• Support the improvement of educational quality by implementing targeted development strategies.

Quality Assurance and Evaluation:

• Evaluate the accessibility and adequacy of learning environments and resources to ensure optimal educational delivery.
• Collaborate with the Head Office Academics team to maintain and improve curriculum standards.
• Assist with school evaluations to ensure alignment with institutional goals and customer satisfaction.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Foster effective communication and collaboration between campuses, regional offices, and the Head Office Academics team.
• Address and resolve customer concerns promptly to maintain satisfaction and trust in educational quality.

Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
• Master’s degree is highly desirable.

Professional Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in educational leadership, curriculum development, or early childhood education.
• Experience in organizing and managing professional development programs.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of curriculum development and early childhood education principles.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
