Role: Geography Teacher (MYP/DP)

As a Geography Teacher at HWA, you will be responsible for teaching students in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). Your main duties include delivering engaging lessons, developing inquiry-based learning experiences, and guiding students in understanding key geographical concepts, environmental issues, and global interconnectivity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related subject
• Valid teaching license or recognized certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Geography at the secondary level
• Previous experience with the IB MYP and/or DP is strongly preferred
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geography education
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
• Technologically proficient, with the ability to integrate digital tools into the learning environment
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and committed to professional development
• Fluent in spoken and written English
