Role Overview: IB PYP Mathematics Teacher

The IB PYP Mathematics Teacher will develop and deliver engaging, inquiry-based math instruction for primary school students. You will help students build a strong foundation in numeracy, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning through real-world applications and collaborative learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver interactive math lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework
• Differentiate instruction to support varied learning needs and styles
• Use assessment tools to monitor progress and guide instructional decisions
• Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a growth mindset in the classroom
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary units and shared planning
• Communicate clearly with students, parents, and team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Minimum of two years of experience teaching mathematics at the primary level
• Experience with IB PYP or international curricula strongly preferred
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills
• Passion for international education and student-centered teaching
