Role Overview: IGCSE Business Studies Teacher
The IGCSE Business Studies Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that explore key business concepts and real-world applications. This role requires a strong understanding of the Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies curriculum and a passion for helping students develop analytical, strategic, and entrepreneurial thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Business Studies to Key Stage 4 students in line with the IGCSE curriculum
- Inspire students through real-world case studies, discussions, and interactive learning
- Plan, assess, and report on student progress to support academic growth
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs and styles
- Contribute to curriculum development and cross-curricular projects
- Support students beyond the classroom through activities and enrichment opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least two years of experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level
- Knowledge of international or Cambridge IGCSE curricula
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative approach to teaching
- Competence in integrating technology to support student learning
