Position: Learning Support Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized learning support to students with diverse educational needs, ensuring an inclusive and engaging classroom experience.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ specific strengths and challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to create effective learning strategies that support academic and personal development.
• Use differentiated instruction techniques to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies to meet their evolving needs.
• Support students in building confidence, social skills, and self-advocacy in their learning journey.
• Stay updated with best practices in special education and learning support to continuously enhance teaching methodologies.
• Promote a culture of inclusion, respect, and encouragement within the school community.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proficient/advanced English language skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, with a PGCE and QTS (or equivalent certification).
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role at a reputable school.
• Strong commitment to ensuring the school remains fully inclusive and supportive of all students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school leadership.
• Enthusiastic, professional, and dedicated to student success.
