Position: Male Learning Support Teacher (Grades 4–12)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized academic support to students in Grades 4–12, ensuring an inclusive and adaptive learning environment.
• Develop individualized learning plans (ILPs) for students with diverse educational needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify curriculum and accommodate different learning styles.
• Use evidence-based teaching strategies to help students strengthen literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust learning strategies accordingly.
• Create a supportive and engaging classroom that fosters confidence, independence, and academic growth.
• Work closely with parents, counselors, and school leadership to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
• Stay updated on best practices in special education and learning support to enhance teaching effectiveness.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Learning Support, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Experience working with students who require learning support, ideally within an international or IB curriculum.
• Expertise in differentiated instruction, intervention strategies, and inclusive teaching methods.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and participation in school initiatives.
