Role: MYP Language Arts Teacher

As the MYP Language Arts Teacher, you will teach English language and literature to students aged 11–16. You will develop engaging and challenging lessons that build reading comprehension, writing fluency, and oral communication. Assess students based on MYP objectives and guide them through units that integrate global contexts, concepts, and inquiry. You will also contribute to curriculum development, support extracurricular activities, and collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent international credential)
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably within an international or IB MYP setting
• Deep understanding of the MYP Language and Literature framework
• Strong classroom management and student engagement strategies
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English
• Passion for inspiring students and enriching the curriculum
• Comfort with integrating technology in teaching and learning
• Team-oriented, reflective, and eager to grow professionally
