Role Overview

As a Primary PE Teacher at DSHK, you will inspire students to develop lifelong healthy habits, strong motor skills, and a love for physical activity. You will design engaging lessons that promote teamwork, resilience, and discipline while ensuring that every child feels motivated and supported in achieving their personal best.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver fun, dynamic PE lessons that align with school curriculum goals.
• Encourage students to participate in sports, games, and physical fitness activities.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Organize school sports events, extracurricular clubs, and physical activity programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular initiatives.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them grow.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and the school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Minimum of three years’ teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual school.
• Familiarity with international curricula and inquiry-based learning.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Enthusiasm for promoting health, fitness, and student well-being.
• Commitment to professional growth and innovative teaching practices.
