BSD is a not-for-profit, coeducational British curriculum school serving students from FS1 to Year 13. We follow the National Curriculum for England and offer externally assessed IGCSE and A-Level programs.

Position: Primary Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach primary-level subjects following the National Curriculum for England.
• Design and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that inspire students and foster a growth mindset.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and student-centered classroom environment.
• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and compassionate action in students.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate individual learning needs and abilities.
• Incorporate educational technology to enhance the learning experience.
• Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
• Support student well-being and character development through the pastoral care system.
• Remain flexible and adaptable to distance learning models, if necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience teaching in a British curriculum school (preferred).
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
• Passion for student development, inclusivity, and lifelong learning.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and collaboration.
