Psychology/I&S Teacher Role

As a Psychology/I&S Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons in Psychology and Individuals & Societies (I&S) aligned with the IB curriculum.
• Inspire students through interactive teaching methods, encouraging critical thinking and independent learning.
• Monitor student progress, providing tailored support and feedback to ensure academic success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan, develop, and implement innovative teaching strategies.
• Promote inquiry-based learning while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support extracurricular activities that enhance students’ personal and social development.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field. A recognized teaching qualification such as B.Ed, PGCE, or PGDE is essential.
• At least 3 years of proven experience teaching Psychology and/or I&S, preferably within an IB curriculum school (though this is not mandatory).
• A strong understanding of IB teaching methods, inquiry-based learning, and student-centered education.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A proactive and creative approach to lesson planning and classroom management.
• Commitment to professional development and a desire to contribute to the school community.
