Role Overview
The Secondary English Teacher will design engaging lessons that build students’ critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills. The role requires a strong ability to differentiate instruction, guide students in exam preparation, and inspire a deep appreciation for English literature and language.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English across secondary year levels within the British curriculum framework.
- Prepare students for IGCSE and IB examinations.
- Develop creative and challenging lesson plans that encourage independent thought.
- Assess, track, and report student progress effectively.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning opportunities.
- Support extracurricular activities that promote literacy and creativity.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school.
- Strong knowledge of English and familiarity with IGCSE and IB programmes.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to professional growth and innovative teaching practices.
- Highly proficient in written and spoken English.
