Role: Secondary English Teacher
The Secondary English Teacher will play a vital role in delivering engaging and rigorous instruction to middle and high school students. The teacher will promote critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication while fostering a love for literature and language arts. Collaboration with colleagues, personalized student support, and active participation in school events are essential aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Use varied teaching strategies to engage learners and meet diverse learning needs
- Provide regular feedback, assessments, and support to help students achieve academic goals
- Collaborate with staff and parents to promote student development and well-being
- Participate in staff development, curriculum planning, and school events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a middle or high school English classroom
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
