Role Overview: Secondary Music Teacher
We seek a dynamic Music Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will lead classroom instruction, develop practical and theoretical musical skills, and help prepare students for performances and assessments. Creativity, innovation, and a strong commitment to student progress are essential in this role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum two years of teaching experience at the secondary level
- Deep understanding of the UK curriculum for music
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- High level of proficiency in spoken and written English
- Ability to integrate music technology into the curriculum
- Proactive and self-motivated with a collaborative mindset
- Passion for fostering talent in a diverse student body
