Role: SENCO (Special Education Coordinator)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Work closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and parents to identify and support students with learning differences.
- Provide training and guidance to faculty on inclusive teaching strategies and intervention methods.
- Monitor student progress, adjusting plans as needed based on data and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with educational standards and best practices in special education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in special education or SEN coordination.
- Expertise in inclusive education and differentiation.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
