About the Role: Spanish Teacher (Years 3–10)
As the Spanish Teacher, you will deliver engaging and rigorous language instruction to students in upper elementary through early high school. You will foster fluency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, and inspire a love for the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures. The ideal candidate will work closely with colleagues to support cross-curricular integration and encourage students to appreciate multilingualism.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least one year of teaching experience in a similar role
- Expertise in teaching Spanish as a foreign language to diverse learners
- Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Passion for working in an international school setting
- Ability to design creative and differentiated lessons
- Competence in using educational technology for instruction and assessment
- Proactive, collaborative, and committed to continuous professional growth
