Position Overview: Teacher-Librarian
The Teacher-Librarian plays a vital role in encouraging student literacy, supporting research and inquiry, and integrating library resources into the school’s curriculum. This individual will manage library operations, collaborate with teaching staff, and cultivate a reading culture across the school community. The ideal candidate brings strong instructional skills, a passion for books and learning, and a commitment to Christian education.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education
- Two or more years of teaching or library experience preferred
- Cross-cultural or international school experience valued
- Understanding and support of Christian education
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in English
- Strong organizational abilities and a student-centered mindset
