This school is based in Tokyo, Japan and is looking for an Upper Elementary Teacher

✓ Differentiate instruction effectively according to data analysis to meet a variety of students’ individual needs
✓Collaborate effectively in a team to plan instruction, analyze data and create assessments
✓Create and use a variety of diagnostic, formative and summative assessment tools to measure learning
✓ Contribute to and document curriculum development/review, in alignment with standards (CCSS, NGSS, AERO, ISTE)
✓ Design and document lessons aligned to unit goals and standards that use a variety of strategies, i.e. technology and student-centered approaches
✓Build strong, positive relationships with their students’ families
✓ Communicate frequently and effectively with students’ families about their progress and needs.

Qualifications we are looking for:
Experience teaching through an inquiry pedagogy | Innovative use of digital tools in the classroom | Bachelors’ degree | Minimum of three years full-time teaching position in a K-12 school | Current teacher registration | Appropriate child protection certification or evidence of clearance
