Role: Maths Teacher
The successful Maths Teacher will deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that inspire curiosity, build critical thinking skills, and encourage students to apply their knowledge to real-world problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that align with the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, and IB Diploma Programme.
- Use interactive teaching strategies to create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Assess student progress through various methods and provide constructive feedback to support learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative lesson plans and integrate technology into teaching.
- Foster a positive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and inquiry.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and achievements.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching certification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching UK National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and IGCSE levels.
- Experience teaching the IB Diploma Programme at SL and HL, or A-level is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
